Dogs have always been part of my life. I live with one now—her name is Butters—and I honestly can’t imagine a home without her. She’s constant, sharp, funny, and reminds me daily why dogs have always felt more grounding (and often more trustworthy) than most people.

This series is built around that connection. I work in two different styles:
One is bold and expressive—layered mixed media, loose brushwork, and fast lines. The other is more stripped down—black and white charcoal, focused on light, form, and stillness. Two approaches, same subject.
