Portugal caught 1,565 tonnes of octopus in 2025. Each tile represents 10 kilos of that catch — making visible a number that is difficult to imagine.

Part of Mar Contado, a collection of hand-painted azulejos by Bel Oui in collaboration with Sea Shepherd Portugal, this limited edition brings together Portuguese craft and marine conservation.

Only 30 tiles have been made, each painted by hand in Portugal.

30% from every tile goes to Sea Shepherd Portugal, supporting their work to protect marine wildlife and defend our oceans.
